I should rephrase that: what a lousy spring travel season. I've been waiting all winter long for places to open up and for us to hid the wide open roads!

Well, places are open but we are not hitting the wide open roads. :( Gas prices, employment problems, and end-of-the-season flu bugs have hit hard. I'm feeling kinda low these days.

I think it was something like this last year, though. And last year picked up pretty good. Last year, I was actually bed-ridden for six weeks (SIX, can't believe it!!) because of my back, and then we gutted the living room. we did get out for a few very fine travels, if I recall.

Here's hoping we do it again. Right now, things look dull.
