Cold, Cold, Cold!

This photo, taken on a "warm" day last week (about 20 degrees F), seems perfect for today. I took it at the frozen shores of Oneida Lake in Central New York. Doesn't it make you feel colder?

BRR!

Today our temps will barely reach 10-15. I'd better start digging for some summertime photos before my fingers freeze to the keyboard, lol!

That is a beautiful, peaceful scene. I know, not so peaceful if one has to shovel, of course.

There was a big grandfaher oak in Florida that split, and 1/4 of the tree was laying on the ground and still growing...just another way. Is that tree split or is that just a HUGE branch that fell?

I think it's a shrub with branches all splayed out. The area was very scrubby there by the waterside.

Yes, it is peaceful. It was quiet on the lake.
