Will you pardon me while I rant? And snicker? Maybe even cackle a little? The media here in New York (and across the Union) created this huge hype about Swine Flu, and about us needing the Swine Flu vaccine. And the media covered up many stories about the contamination of it, too. And remember when just a few months ago, New York State ordered health care workers to get the vaccine, or be fired; later, this mandate was (justifiably) challenged? How the Swine Flu "pandemic" was made a NATIONAL EMERGENCY?

Well, well... we stupid Americans! We just don't know what's good for us. We're too busy shopping for
modern furniture and watching TV to know what we need! Government and Media, save us!!!!

Truckloads Of Unused Swine Flu Vaccines

After months of fear, media coverage and government warnings there wasn't as much demand for the swine flu vaccine in New York state as expected.

Truckloads of swine flu vaccines are being returned by counties that say the expected demand for the shots never happened.

When the state's H1N1 vaccination program kicked off in the fall there were fears that there wouldn't be enough of the new vaccine to go around.

The flu strain has not spread as wide as feared and some people were also unsure of pumping a quickly developed vaccine into their bodies.

On January 1, state health officials urged people who haven't been vaccinated to get a shot.

"When it's in a shortage, everyone clamors for it," said Dr. Richard Daines, commissioner of the state Department of Health. "Now that it's abundant, people don't think they need to fight for it."

Everyone was clamoring? I didn't hear ANY clamoring, except by government and media. Sure, there was the occasion paranoid "average" citizen who obeys everything the Telescreen tells them...

So this NATIONAL EMERGENCY pandemic of epic proportions has withered away? By the attitude of this story, the media and government think we are taking it all too lightly. No... on the contrary, we are taking YOU, Media and Government, lightly. Cuz you guys stink! We can make our own decisions and bear our own responsibilities all by our stupid selves, OK?

Well, that should be easy enought to take care of---just flush it down the toilet. OH WAIT! They can't flush it. It's considered hazardous waste because of the mercury content! In drinking water, mercury cannot exceed 2 parts per billion. With more than 200 parts per billion of mercury, liquid is considered hazardous waste. A mercury-containing flu shot vial has 50,000 parts per billion of mercury.

So.....Can't flush it legally, it's got 250x the mercury considered safe for human consumption, but the government wants me to take a shot of it in the arm??? I don't think so, Skippy. No wonder there are truckloads of it left over...

Guess those American citizens are smarter than everybody thought! lol
