Just a Funny House

I snapped this photo from the driver's side window as we were traveling through the Adirondacks a few weeks ago.
I liked it because it was so quirky and unusual. I wish I could remember what route it was on. I would have stopped to take a look inside (I'll bet the inside is just as fun!) but it was snowing hard on and off, and I wanted to get home before dark.
I wonder about the economy there, that far north. The economy in New York State absolutely stinks-- how difficult is it up there in the boonies? How do you do a New York job search way up there? In winter, everything practically shuts down.
More photos to come. ;)
You took a picture of Hoss's Corner Store in Long Lake, NY at the intersection of Routes 30 and 28N. http://www.hossscountrycorner.com/
It isn't a residence, but a store associated with a campground, bait shop and ice cream store during the summer.
The store is a great source for ADK books and maps. They also carry tourism gifts and camping supplies.
