A Good Travel Safety Site

Going overseas for the holidays, or the winter? (watch me turn green with envy, lol). Well, I know a few people around here who do, and there are also many readers who do, too; you lucky dogs!
Here's a very good site I've found to help you brush up on your travel safety: Safeholidays.com.au. The site is Australian, which lends a unique view on travel safety. Australia is also a very popular destination, so I figure they'd know more than most about overseas travel. The page on avoiding holiday emergencies has excellent information for any traveler. Also included is information about home security, holiday driving tips, holiday crime, beach safety (very important! I hear of beach accidents all the time), what to do if you are in an accident on your holiday, and more. I highly recommend the beach safety tips and the holiday driving tips. If you are traveling with children, it is an absolute must that they are aware of safety rules and regulations.
It's a good site, one to bookmark and breeze over before taking your next vacation. The articles are not lengthy and have lists for easy and quick reading. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, I always say. Travel safely!
Merry Christmas Rebecca to you and your family. Hubby's brother passed away this week so it will be difficult but we will enjoy the good times.
