Tornado in Mohawk Valley

Monday, September 05, 2011

The local buzz here in Central New York is an uncommon weather event that is becoming a LITTLE TOO common around here this year--- a tornado.

The video is a bit long. The action starts about 5:45 into the video.

O_o

I have no idea how many tornadoes we've had up here this year. I would guess maybe 6, 8? In one week, we had a tornado (in Wayne County), an earthquake, and a hurricane.

OK WHAT'S GOING ON??

The *only* nice thing about living in New York State is that we usually have terrific weather. It offsets the disastrous politics and horrid government we have up here. It's NO FAIR to have both disastrous government AND disastrous weather!!

Wow! The weather was so crazy here yesterday that I was looking for a tornado! The wind was wild and the rain was coming down in sheets in various directions. Definitely crazy weather, and I especially dislike getting water in our basement and garage :(

I can handle the bad weather but the lousy, stinkin' government gives me fits. We can't change the weather, but there is no excuse for not changing the dolts in office.
